Hi everyone!

I found the 10 drawer organizer (for storing thread) at Sam's Club. Neither

of my local Sam's Club carries it, so I had to order it online.

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- just about had heart failure though when I clicked on check out - the

shipping was approximately $25.00 for the $30.00 cart!!!! I decided to

click a little father, and I am happy I did! The actual shipping is cheap!

So I ordered two!

I couldn't find the original message to whoever told us about this

organizer, but thank you! I just thought I would share the link!

Does anyone have the real dimensions of this? They obviously listed some from another unit. The description on the Sam's site is:

. 3 adjustable shelves

. Stainless steel door fronts

. Key lock

. 5" heavy-duty wheels

. Dimensions: 38" W x 15.5" D x 15.3" H

I would want to know the real dimensions before I bought, as it might have to go under or between something.

Connie, I'm not sure you're looking at the right item. I started this

thread after purchasing the rolling cart at Sam's. I still have the box and

the dimensions are 14" Wide x 12.5" Deep x 2.6" High. It has 10 white

drawers with silver knobs, and 1 stainless shelf that snaps over the top. I

took my Isacord thread spool to Sam's to check and make sure they fit

standing up...they do. You can get either 36 or 42 spools in each drawer,

depending on how you want to arrange them! It was $29.99 at my local Sam's!

Hope this clarifies it for all of you. I'm already enjoying having my

threads at my fingertips instead of in a box taking up space on my sewing

table.

I was going to check into this...until I saw the drawer height of 2.6". I have some Floriani thread that is 3" high. Currently I have them in Plano fishing tackle boxes, which works well, but I like the drawers, too.

Thanks Rita. I used the link someone else (Jenni?) had posted. It showed exactly the picture of the item you're describing, but when I clicked on the description/specs, that other description came up & I knew it was wrong. In my creative spaces, I often have to shoehorn in my storage solutions, & an inch or two either way can be a deal breaker! & of course as you say, knowing how tall the items can be that you're planning on storing is a big factor, too!

Hi,

.

I just looked at this shelf and it looks great ---- is it 38" tall or 38" wide???. Sam's lists the specifications as 38" wide, but it looks like it would be 38" TALL.. I have space for 38" tall and 15.5 wide but NOT 38" wide!

.

Thanks,

.

I asked the same thing, Dianna, & Rita answered it with the post below. Sam's had the wrong specs on the description. Rita describes each drawer's dimensions & if you add it all up I think it would come out about 38" tall. They look really handy, don't they?
