I've seen many of the sewing shows this year use 12weight thread on the top for added dimension....I know Sulky demo's itregularly. Yet, I've never seen any for sale. Where do you buyit? Where is the best price? Leone

Leone, I ADORE Sulky's 12wt cotton thread! It makes fabulous buttonholes, and beautiful decorative stitches. I have the entire collection, I buy mine at Joanns online, they periodically sell the sulk kits at a discount. CJ

Many Viking and Pfaff dealers carry Sulky 12 and 30 wt cotton, solids

and blendables.

Hi Peggy, not CJ, but I saw Joyce Drexler of Sulky on an episode of Fons & Porter and she said to use a 90/14 needle with the heavier threads.

Did she use a dental threader to thread the needle?

Hi Bec

It's a loop of stiff nylon that is welded together along both end

sections. It is actually a dental 'floss' threader. There is a picture

here but it's very tiny. The second picture on this page.

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- use it like a wire loop type needle threader. Very good for

threading loopers on overlockers ;-)
