Does Bernina have a clear 1/4" foot with a guide for the newer

Not to my knowledge, Roberta. Not sure if thenew 830 will have one or not. I use my clear foot 34 a lot, but it doesn'thave a blade. Ewalda

I know we had a discussion about the best foot for 1/4. seams recently. I thought I could wing it, but the eyes aren.t what they used to be. I discovered while using the walking foot that markings are helpful. So, what was the consensus about the best foot for sewing 1/4. seams (and yes, I am piecing a quilted table runner).

Karen, I don't know what the consensus was for the best 1/4" foot, but on my 550 the #37 foot is one I depend on. But really this is a decision you need to make based on your fabric and thread..

Bonnie Hunter gives a good explanation here ---Links-Are-Forbidden--- of how to make sure you're getting that sometimes elusive quarter inch..Good luck,Margaret in Texas
