I know I should know the answer to this, but I seem to be drawing a blank. When a design is opened from the module, is it possbile to change the thread brand to another brand? I'm thinking not, but couldn't find an answer in the manual. This was during a class time and things were rather rushed and there were 3 different machines in the class. I guess Bernina likes to confuse us teachers with so many models, but at times it sure does muddle the brain!

Seems like I remember a firmware update for the 180 that added thread

brands to the setup menu.

I looked into this a bit more and found that this came in the 4.04

update and is in fact in set up. The colors should also display in the

information bar after this update (with thread brand, color name and

number) and the thread brand box should be in the lower left corner of

the setup screen.

Thank you so much for delving further, Kari. I'll get in touch with my student and see what she has
