I looked at the photo for each step. There nothing ironed, nothing cut, nothing sewn. It just showed how to get the gelatin on by pouring, squeezing out excess with a towel, and washing it out in soapy water.

So~what happens in between??? Can you cut it? Does it get ironed?? I missed the space in between and my brain isn't good at filling in the gaps.

I do have a second question. I have a Bernina 730 and have had disastrous results in the past sewing minkie. I want to make a small blanket for my coming grandson. Any advice on working with this fabric or which stitches to use I would appreciate!!

Thanks all for putting up with me!

For minkee I have had good success by lengthening the stictch, raising the foot pressure (less pressure) and using both the straight stitch needle plate and the walking foot. Are you using it on both sides? You can also use a wash away stabilizer too.
