I tried out a few of the Christmas Ornaments that are on Collection #1

of the OESD promotional give-aways this season. I like the way they

turned out. They've had their bath to wash away the badgemaster and

after they are dry I'm going to add some bling with my EZ-Glitzer

tool. I need to pick up some additional fabrics, linens, etc. so

that I can do some more projects from this and Collections #2 & #3

because I really like them and they will make nice gifts. The design

on my apron came from Collection #2.

Pic is in Judy's Things at:

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- been a fun embroidery day!

Judy,

These are beautiful. I have this CD and now look forward to doing a few.

Absolutely beautiful.

I tied to find these offered as free on the website, but no luck.

Perhaps they were only offered as part of a package?

Does anyone know of any sites that offer lace ornaments for free? I'd

like to try my hand at making lace, but I'd like to try just one to

see if I like this style of embroidery.

Never mind. I found six of them for sale at embroiderlibrary for

$9.00, so naturally I went for it!

I'll let you know how they turn out.

Judy, lovely projects you did, and don't you like your Tutto, I have a medium one.

I did some of these ornaments, Col. 1, for an ornament swap, lots of fun. I also, while at Bernina dealer, saw some of these done with organdy - sparkly, very nice. I may try some of these. Col. 2 and 3, may have to wait for next Christmas, lots to do yet.

Thanks Kat. The ornaments in the 5th picture are from the OESD Collection

#1 that I got from my local Bernina dealer. OESD had three collections that

they were giving away on cd with purchases or $50 or more OESD products.

However, my Bernina dealer also would sell the cd's alone for like $28 or

something like that. My dealer doesn't have any more and the OESD site

doesn't sell them that I know of. Your only option, I think, at this point

would be to try and find one on ebay if your local dealer doesn't have any

left in stock. Judy

Thanks CJ. I like the way they turned out as well. Those pictured have

already been given as gifts and are now in Ireland being hung on a Christmas

tree in a Bed & Breakfast castle. How fun!! Also, I put glittery crystals

on all of them and it made them truly nice! I've made some more for my tree

and one is plodding along on the embroidery machine as I type. Judy
