I may well be boring but I just have to say, I simply LOVE my 200E..... I make pouches for tiny babies who don't survive.... this involves doing a mitre on lace.... On every other machine I have ever owned I have had to put paper or tearaway underneath to stop the lace disappearing into the feed dogs/needle slot.... with a single hole needle plate on and foot #13 I can mitre the corners to my heart's content with no hassle....

I do hope that Bernina don't come up with a better machine - otherwise, how can I possibly resist???????

You're not boring Bryden, I feel the same way, which is why I recently

mentioned, Bernina will really have to put out something amazing for me to

want to upgrade, the 200/730 pretty much does it all, and beautifully at

that.

How do you do a mitre on lace? Where would I find instructions for

doing this? I have the single hole needle plate and foot #13. . .

Thanks, Kitty
