I have a friend who is just learning to embroider with her 430. She has ARTdesign. While embroidering today, her bobbin thread ran out and she didn't notice it for a few moments. We were stumped as to how to back up to get her back in place. I have a 200/730 and was no help to her at all. Any help for next time would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris in Idaho

I have a new 440 and that happened to me yesterday. I found that on my

computer screen, there were four directional arrows on the bottom left of

the EC on PC screen. By hitting the left one repeatedly the hoop moved back

one stitch at a time and I finally got back to the spot where the bobbin ran

out. There may be a much more efficient way to do this, but that worked.

For some reason, the shortcut keys they suggest in the online manual do NOT

seem to work with the program on my computer...here again, that may well

just be user ignorance on my part.

Chris,

She is using EC on PC. This has the "snake" icon just as your 730 does. Click that, and use the plus/minus signs to dial back to where you wish to start, the screen will show images of place in the design.
