Hi Sally,

Welcome to the group! I just starting beading earlier this year and

love it! I saw that you were wanting to try loomweaving (along with

off-loom too). I bought an inexpensive metal loom to see if I'd like

it. Didn't want to waste the money on a wooden one and not enjoy it.

I've already spent enough. lol I haven't done any type of off-loom

weaving yet, but plan to. I enjoy the loomweaving. It's pretty easy

and goes quickly, compared to off-loom weaving. You don't need a

class for loomweaving. You'd be able to do this by yourself. You can

learn the basics at suzannecooper.com. There are many resources at

this group and another I belong to called Beadchat. Don't ever

hesitate to ask questions. I've asked plenty and everyone's been

very helpful and kind. Have fun beading! :)

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- Everyone,

I just joined...so wanted to say hello! My

name is Sally, live in Oregon and have been beading

about two years. I really like doing multi strand

pieces but want to venture into more complicated

things like off loom weaving, loom weaving and wire

wrapping. I am beginning to think it would be best to

take a class to learn those.....I get a bit frustrated

trying to learn the seed beading from looking at a

book. Anyways....nice to meet you!

Sally
