we have about 17 votes so far..everyone please take this chance to vote and tell us your preference.

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- explanation of choices below..

One thing I want to add...I was just thinking about an issue that might come up with the 'central dispersment option...it might not be possible to swap out everything so that everyone gets the exact colors they like. Of course we would try out best to match up likes and dislikes..but it will be different then having something specifically made for you. Just something to keep in mind. I haven't discussed that thought with Jen yet..maybe she has other ideas. If anyone else does...it's open for discussion.

The new poll will request your input on the future of swapping.

Please only vote for one. ---Links-Are-Forbidden--- and feedback are WELCOME!

1. Central Dispursement

(Basically states that every time we swap, you make your item and

you send it to me. I will match up items and people based on

preferences, etc. You will need to send extra $ - in the form of

postage - for the return trip. It'll basically eliminate any issues

with late arrivals.)

2. Free Donate

(At will, anyone can donate items to the swap stash. It's only

meant for those times when members are MIA. This selection,

however, puts all the shipping financial responsibility on one of

the mods. I'm not sure i'm too game for this idea, but more details

can be discussed.)

3. The Questionaire

(From the looks of it, the swapper questionaire is the least

favorite, although i have had some good members send me their info.

It's the contact info, pics of items, and proof of residence. It's

the most extensive, and a lot of our members don't have access to

scanners or digital cameras, on the other thand, it's also the most

fail safe.)

4. Donate before Swap

(I thought this might be the easier way to keep an 'approved swapper

list'. Before you can be allowed to swap, you send me $3 in

postage -stamps- and one finished item as your 'guarantee' of

committance. That way, no one, but yourself, has to make up for

your shortcomings, and no one bears any unnecessary financial

responsibility. You only need to submit this once, and then you can

swap for life)

unfortunately, that's the way it goes. You make what you like, essentially. Hopefully it will

match up with something someone else likes. If not, there's really nothing i would be able to do

about it. Part of that, however, is the beauty of swaps - Getting something so different than

what you make.

I'm not sure how you would do that? I probably wouldn't have a 'sign-up' in the old sense. I

would really just put out a big ole email that said, if you want to join, send me your goodies!

If it gets here, great, if not, there's nothing i can do. What if you intended to trade with

someone, and they never sent their stuff to me?

I agree..if this is the choice way..then it would just be accepted that you don't choose colors. How about we ask that you just put the color you can't stand..or cannot wear? Do you think that woudl still be too hard to work with Jen?

Sue actually brought up something very important...I just accepted it to go through..somehow Yahoo caught it as spam..and that is sizes! That can end up making this impossible I would think.

I think this is just impossible if we choose central dispersment. Mabye everyone would just have to hope that fits..and if not they can use it as a gift.

orrr...

we could have a swap for larger sized women and a swap for the smaller sized women.

When I did a lot of scrapbook swapping we still sent everything to one person. But we also had people who picked or were assigned specific items or colors or sizes and we still matched them up. When the central person collected everything she sent out each of the partners stuff. If someone went MIA one of the angels then sent the required color or size or item in. Was that clear as mud? :)
