I picked up some round flat polymer pieces that had what I would describe as a shiny metallic sort of finish on them?.. Almost like a leaf?.. She had a bunch of them with different and mixed colors... Some of the rounds had lines across them etched into the clay, and then a different combination of shiny metallic looking finishes on each stripe... They were gorgeous and I would love to play with learning how... Does anyone know how to do this and/or where I could find a book on this technique?.. I could easily see tons of ways to use these rounds in my work.
Oh, the finish was kind of flaky?.. On the sides you could see where it wasn't adhered tightly to the clay round... I filed those 'edges' off...... She had combinations of blue/greens, lots of golds and brasses, some reds and purples.....
Any info would be appreciated.
