How do people take advantage of a lull and do this? No one but people who are too bored for their own good would consider hourly reminders on a site that is not theirs. I know it is a problem for you mods but again it could be they did it thinking it was something else............LOL. Hoping this works out and they will stop

I am new to this group so I am not sure if I have seen the entire
thread or not but I went into my calendar options, clicked on "time
guides" and removed the check marks in the boxes next to my group
names and it removed all the calendar items. Then click Save.
Unfortunately if I wanted to keep some of them it doesn't
distinguish. It just removed every calendar item from a paticular

HI! I wrote a posting last night sharing some of my new work but it hasn't shown up on the message boards yet? I'm new so it has to go through one of you first, I'm just wondering if everything is okay? I see everyone's beautiful work and thought I'd share a bit of mine too...although I'm not half as crafty as some on the site :)
Find restaurants, movies, travel & more fun for the weekend. Check it out!

I think you just caught all of us mods at a busy time. All new members are moderated..so that means that until one of us mods can get over to the groups website to approve the message..it will sit there and not be posted.
And just to let you know and other know who might be wondering since this came up...your email was totally fine..there was no problem. As long as it's not sent out for advertising purposes to sell your jewelry...which it obviously wasn't with all the zero amounts and 'not for sale' notices...it's fine. Many of us like to ask others on the group to check out our websites for advice on how it looks..or we may send the group to somewhere on it to see somehting we made that we are proud of. We usually use the albums for that..but some use thier sites..or another online photo storage place...it is perfectly fine to send a link through the group to your website and not use the disclaimer IF it is for the purpose of sharing a piece of jewelry or beaded treasure that you have created.
Now if it comes to having a website of other content for sale such as beading supplies...the rules would be stricter. Obviously most people here aren't interested in purchasing already made jewelry...we all make it! But if it is a site full of product we all here want to buy..it is an obvious advertisement and you have a higher chance of a purchase resulting from the posting. This is where we need the disclaimer so that we mods and the owner don't have to worry about being held responsible should anything happen in that transaction.
We appreciate you posting the disclaimer anyways, even though it wasn't needed...it never hurts to play it safe!
