Hi there, I have had a couple of necklaces not hold by the crimp bead.

I would love any suggestions on how to make sure this holds better as

well as some recommendations on crimp pliers and where to get some. I

think that is part of my problem.

Thanks so much.

Linda

I was having trouble with crimp pliers on the second crimp and found

I was using too big a crimp tube or bead and my squeeze was not

right...I actually am having better luck using my needle nose and

crushing the beads rather than the other way...it may not look as

pretty, but is holding better for me. I use the smallest size that

accomodates the wires passing back and then hold them side by side so

the crimp bead catches them flat together at the same time. I also

try to keep as long a tail as possible worked on the piece so I can

rework it if necessary. I do a lot of torsades so working 3 and 4

wires back in can get dicey... am going to try learning using cones

for my ends on those in the near future.
