I want to link several jump rings together to make an extender so the

sizing of my bracelets will be adjustable. I'm afraid the open jump

rings will pull apart, though. I was considering soldering the rings

closed after I've got them all linked together. Is that the right way

to go? Or is there an easier way? Maybe there is an easy answer and

I'm missing the forrest for the trees!!!

I would use a piece of chain

Your local beadstore might sell chain by the inch or even foot and you

could just use a small length of a larger chain. The chain is a lot

less likely to open up on ya. Also, some stores like JoAnn, sell an

'extender chain'.

I bought several extenders from Artbeads.com but the links are so tiny,

I don't like them much. I'm going to try some chain that has larger

links to make my extenders.
