throw the turnouts in the "correct" direction on a loop to loop

layout, without using a computer?

I'm referring to the turnouts on each loop, which of course need to be

throw in the opposite direction before the train exists the loop. I'm

using Peco turnouts and Peco switch machines.

Setting OpSw12 on the DS 64 to "closed" will configure the A input to

set the turnout to thrown when high, and the S input will set the

turnout to closed when high. Strategically placed BD4 block occupancy

detectors can be used to trigger the A and S inputs as shown in Figure

4 in the DS64 manual.
