On our yard module set, we have several DS64s controlling the turnouts at the two yard throats. We have 2 DS54s in the center sections, contolling some crossover tracks. Thanks to advice previously received from the group, I have been successful at setting up Routes within the DS64s to control the yard track access. I set up the routes using..a DT400 throttle connected to the Loconet, in accordance with the DS64 instructions...It is VERY cool to see the turnouts align themselves at the push of a single switch command.
Now the question:
A few of the routes I have set up in a DS64 control turnouts electrically connected to the DS54. Will the DS54 react in accordance with a route command sent by a DS64? Is there anything special to be done to make it so?
Thank you in advance.
