Looking for the family of a Jesse Goodfellow ( possibly Agnes

Jesse Goodfellow ) married to a Robert Pennie in Scotland.

Both immigrated to Canada, where their daughter, Jennette

Pennie was born about 1847. Would put Jesse's year of birth as

between 1800 and 1827. No details as to parish names or counties.

Hope someone out there can help.

Regards,

Lee Gordon Goodfellow

Hello Lee,

Here are the few Goodfellow's that I've managed to find in the

various MI Booklets that I have for the Kincardineshire area

of Scotland. I could find no references of any Pennie's.

Whether any of these are connected to your family is unknown,

but it's certainly something you could follow up on as the

dates are well within the time period you are looking for.

By the time the 1881 Census was taken, there were only 158

Goodfellow's listed in the Highlands area of Scotland along

with 79 Pennie's. In the Lowlands there were 407 Goodfellow's

and only 14 Pennie's. If you need me to look up any of them

for you on the Census, just let me know and I'll be more than

happy to. I hope this helps!

CHEERS,

Jim Allan
