It amazes me how many people feelRandal was cold at the end to say the least. As much as it seemed cold, he wasreally put in an unfair spot in my opinion and should not have been forced to dothat right there and there.
I actually think he did make the rightdecision even though he does look bad for doing so, especially since whileRebecca was a worthy opponent, Randal was a clear winner in myopinion.
What I do think Mr Trump should havedone was say this:"Rebecca, I do want to sayalthough you lost here tonight, you are no loser by any means. I know how good aperson you really are, and no matter who does hire you, Rebecca, you will shineand make me proud that you were on this show because in spite of your record asProject Manager, you were a star all season."
I would have loved to have then hadMr. Trump say this:"Not only is Rebecca a star, sheis a big star, and in fact, beginning this Monday, December 19, you can seeRebecca weekday mornings on Squawk Box on CNBC. Youwill be a great fit, and hopefully, we will be seeing you on television for along time to come."
That to me would have beengreat.
Now, if NBC and Dow Jones (who jointlyown CNBC) are smart, they would have started negotiations with Rebecca theminute the finale was over so hopefully they could have had them wrapped up intime for Rebecca to announce at the end of the first repeat of the finaletonight on CNBC (which is at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT) that she will in fact be onSquawk Box (or another CNBC program) starting thiscoming Monday.
