I just saw the preview! God I hope Def Leppard didn't no show. That would be disturbing. I mean celebrities should put away their vanity for charity. I think the issue was over a stupid drum.

"I think the issue was over a stupid drum."

Or......it could have been over the way John Rich talked to them during their phone conversation. He seemed quite demanding.

WOW....there's NO comparison which box & can JUMP out at you when you see them side-by-side. The 80's can almost appears to be larger by being so bold.

The 70's can is quite tame, boring, and very pale.

Only one of those boxes would catch my eye while cruising the soft drink isle of a grocery store.

I really think it's editing. They would have to know ahead of time that the

band is there in order to introduce them to the crowd. On Fri, May 20, 2011 at 1:18 AM, Glenn drakingson@...> wrote:

Yes but John Rich was trying to be reasonable and the manager or whoever it was just was being an ass! I would have done the same thing. I mean it is for a charity after all. There should be no bickering over stuff like that. When you perform for a charity you should just show up and perform. When the Backstreet boys performed during the season 1 final task and had all of these requests I thought they were mean. Somebody has to pay for all of that stuff and it comes out of the pockets of the charity and the people who need help. I mean just show up and sing. Don't ask for special foods (wheat grass) or anything else. Buy your own food and amenities. It's silly.

It is very eye catching but I am not sure if the execs will like it. Besides the stripes there isn't much else to it. There isn't anything that stands out to link it to the fact that it is RETRO 80s 7-Up. They could have added a zipper with a little pullie thing that said that. And the regular 7-Up can does have gree and yellow/white stripes so they may get called out for having too similar of a design as the currrent one. --- In The_Apprentice@yahoogroups.com, J Phillips mopar_superbird@...> wrote:

I think Trump make them act like asses to see how well the 2 finalist handle the pressure of having to get a celeb all the little crap that they ask for. a certain type of bottled water, no green m&ms, etc. --- On Fri, 5/20/11, Glenn drakingson@...> wrote:

Like I said....When compared to the 70's can the 80's can is BAD ASS, eye-catching, and the executives will love it.

"Retro" is printed on both cans.
