Glad it went to a good home.I duno what is keeping my friend at the copy shop from scanning the schematics for it. I noticed the online service manual doesn't have the PCB layout either -- those things are arse to scan. I might have to do that in the next few days. When I'm not jetting about going hither and yon.

A good usage for people to think about with a synth that has 8 outputs. The outputs are quite strong on the Tx802 (10v peak to peak). This is more than enough to trigger gates on analogue equipment. You can draw up a waveform of whatever shape you want -- envelopes and LFOs, and you can apply that to the side-chain of your compressor. Thus, enabling you to change the amplitude shaping of any sound (you could have your guitar gate in time with your other Tx802 synthy voices).
