I have a Motu 828MkIII. When I plug the TX in to the line inputs I can hardly hear it. But when I plug it in to the front combo XLR-1/4 instrument inputs the volume matches my other synths plugged in to the line inputs.

Other than that it sounds fine. The TX802 manual says the outputs are 3db. It should be blasting the instrument inputs.

Any ideas?

Is it the same low output from all the individual outs, or just the stereo outs? How about the headphones.

And, yes, the outputs on mine are quite loud. /- 5v for a 10 volt peak to peak swing.

Check the synth behavior with different equipment, to be sure problem

is not in synth. Probably not, if it works well in different

connectors (maybe some wrong setting of MOTU?).

If yes, there's possible to repair. Read this, they mention (and can

repair) bad output section on TX802:

---Links-Are-Forbidden--- - Alexander - is a very nice person, I just discussed with him

complete repairs of my Elka Synthex and PPG Wave 2.2... They just need

the boards from the instrument, but in the case of TX802 they need the

machine - they are in Vienna, Austria.

Also check the volume levels in the performance edit for each of the 8 parts are all turned up and are not set to low.
